A true classic by Malo, Suavecito topped the local charts and peaked at #18 on the Billboard Top 100. The LP version was the one that we chose which featured a flugelhorn solo during the intro. As Carlos Santana introduced Latin rock to the world, his brother Jorge put together this brass happy band that Greenwood emulated. There are many great songs that brings one back to a certain time and place. This song is no exception.
